If no unusual activity is detected, no IP address is collected or retained.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. However, your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Internal Staff

Relevant account data, moderation logs, activity records, and where applicable IP address logs, may be shared with authorised Northline Games staff members via Discord, strictly for the purpose of game administration, moderation, and support.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Northline Games, our users, or others.

5. Infrastructure and Data Storage

Your data is distributed across multiple services and locations as described below.

5.1 API

Our API, which receives and processes all data collected from the Meta platform, is hosted via Cloudflare and operates from a compute data centre located in San Francisco, California, United States. Cloudflare also hosts our websites and related services.

5.2 Database Storage (Supabase)

Account data, match statistics, moderation logs, and IP address records are stored on Supabase. Our Supabase database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).

5.3 Staff Communication (Discord)

Relevant data including moderation alerts and account information may be sent to internal Northline Games staff via Discord webhooks. Discord is operated by Discord Inc. and data sent through Discord is subject to Discord's own privacy policy and terms of service. Discord's infrastructure is operated across multiple locations globally.

6. International Data Transfers

AirBall VR is available worldwide. Your data is processed and stored across infrastructure in the United States (Cloudflare API, San Francisco) and the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt, Germany). If you are located outside these regions, your data will be transferred to and processed in one or both of these locations.

Data protection laws in the United States and European Union may differ from those in your country. By using AirBall VR, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Moderation records, including ban and mute logs, may be retained for longer periods to protect the integrity of the game and its community. IP addresses collected when unusual activity is detected are retained as part of the associated log records for as long as those records are held.

If you request deletion of your data (see Section 9), we will process your request in accordance with our obligations and may retain certain records where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our API and hosting infrastructure is managed through Cloudflare, and data is stored on Supabase, both of which maintain industry-standard security practices.

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and you use AirBall VR at your own risk.

Deletion requests must include a fair and valid reason. We review all requests on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to decline requests where retention is necessary for legitimate purposes, such as maintaining moderation records to protect our community.

Depending on where you are located, you may also have rights under applicable privacy laws, such as GDPR if you are in the European Union, including the right to access, correct, restrict, or port your data. You may contact us using the email address above to exercise any of these rights.
